Using Google Now

Google Now is a personal assistant feature which uses calendar information, current location information obtained through the GPS function and so on to predict which information the user will need and display it.

1Swipe upwards using the Google mark.

How to use

In accordance with your schedule and current location information, Google Now displays information such as weather, traffic, operational status of transportation providers and more, in a card format.

Tapping the card opens the corresponding app to give further detailed information.

Setting method

1Tap - [Settings] in the bottom right of the screen to display the Settings screen.

Google Now	Information that is set to [ON] will be displayed as a card.
Notification	Notifications will be sent for the information that is ticked.
My stuff	Edit home/workplace address, stock price information list and so on.
Voice	Set voice command. Language Set the language in which Google voice search commands will be made. Speech output Select from [Always], [Only important information] and [Only at hands-free]. Block offensive If this is ticked, inappropriate language will be blocked. Hotword detection Voice Search is begun by saying “Google”. Download offline speech recognition Download data to use voice recognition offline. Bluetooth headset If this is ticked, audio can be recorded on a Bluetooth headset.
Tablet search	Set the information to search in the tablet.
Privacy & accounts	Change Google account or privacy options. For detailed information, tap the [?] in the bottom right of the screen and refer to the information displayed from Google.
